Jarrod Hegwood LPC is a 1995 graduate of Walker High School. He has a BFA in theatre from William Carey College and MDIV in Psychology from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He currently serves as the Director of Clinical Counseling at the ELBA Counseling Center in Walker LA. He also serves as an Adjunct professor of Psychology for Leavell College and is a part time student minister for Judson Baptist Church.  

Darlene Abbott BCSW-S earned her Bachelor of Arts, Psychology (minor in Sociology) from Louisiana State University in 1983 and completed her Master of Social Work in 1989.

She received her certification as a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor in September of 2000. Her strong work ethic and organizational abilities help her to work cooperatively with a team mentality, strong advocacy skills and effectively communicate with individuals and groups at all levels. Her experiences include Residential Treatment Family Care, Treatment Family Care, Family Resource Center and Family Based Services as a Clinical Social Worker, Nutritionist, Case Manager, Family Supervisor, In-Home Intensive Intervention, Public Speaking, Program Director, Social Skills Group Leader and Facilitator of a special tutoring program. She serves children from birth to age 21, adults and geriatrics. 

 Erica Matthews PLPC is a 1990 graduate of Baker High School. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lubbock Christian University. She currently serves as a PLPC at ELBA Counseling Center in Walker LA. She also serves as a PLPC at Live Oak Church Counseling Center in Watson LA. Erica is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). She implements counseling techniques that are based on an eclectic approach with a primary focus on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy 

Ellie Hughes is a 2017 graduate of Doyle High School and holds a BA in Communication from Southeastern Louisiana University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Ellie uses an integrative approach to counseling including techniques from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Play Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. Ellie also serves as the children's ministry intern at Hebron Baptist Church in Denham Springs LA.
